Purple Panda Media at Highland Spotlight 2017

By September 28, 2017News, The Team

Last Tuesday, the team was exhibiting at Highland Spotlight 2017, the Highland’s only dedicated business to business exhibition, at the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness. All sorts of businesses were present, from financial services, to candle makers… even Pandas! We had a great time, met up with potential buyers, fellow designers, or just insanely fun people. Simply said, the PPM team had a blast!

Gary was with us, as we held a competition to win an Inverness Coffee Roasting Co. hamper, and to win, participants had to take photos with Gary himself, and cross their fingers. Gary had a blast meeting people from all backgrounds, including business owners, visitors and students!

It was a great opportunity for our team to connect and network with other businesses, creating great business relations, and having a lot of fun, as well as gaining some freebies and goodies!

Now on to the part you’ve all been waiting for, announcing our lucky winner.

Our of little Pandas have been hard at work, between colouring-in and jumping on a trampoline, and have selected our winner. Drum roll please…

Congratulations Merry Scott!

We’ll be in touch via twitter shortly to arrange delivery of your coffee goodies.

Thanks you to everyone who came alone to our stand on the day and took part in our selfie competition. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Below is a selection of the tweets of people entering our #ChooseMeGary competition, if you want to see all of the entries click here.

“This was my second event, but first of this kind, so I was not sure what I was supposed to expect in the slightest. I arrived there early to set up, and soon started talking to people around us. The people next to us, from Converged Communication Solutions, were friendly and very chatty, which made this event a lot more fun for me than it already was. I had a chance to meet people from all over Scotland, which was a unique experience for me. The Converge speed test game was a lot of fun, and made a lot of visitors less business-y and more personal, which was a plus point for the time they got to our stall. I spoke to designers and developers from Pelican Design, who were really great to talk to. The people from Farmer Jones Academy were also a great chat, and they had an Inverness Coffee bag in the hamper they were showcasing. This event was a new experience for me, but it was definitely an experience I will remember!” – Elyas
